May 18, 2016 The US Department of Labor issued new regulations expanding overtime coverage to approximately 4 million workers.  The new regulations will increase maxim annual compensation exclusion amount from $23,660 to $47,476, meaning that generally employees making less $47,476 should receive overtime pay (time and a half) when they work more than 40 hours in a week.  Additionally the overtime maxim annual compensation exclusion amount will be revised every three years.  See the links below for additional information.
